Game Designer, Player Engagement - Fall Damage, Stockholm
We usually respond within
Do you enjoy the rush of getting a reward when achieving something remarkable in a game? To see how players respond to a challenge and show off their reward to the community?
Do you agree? Then You might be our new Engagement Designer!
We are developing a high-profile FPS which will live on for a long time with a continuous need for new fabulous content to be introduced for our players to stay engaged.
We are looking for someone who enjoys giving players more different ways to express themselves and rewards them for their excellent play. We want you to become a part of that journey. The challenge is to create an experience that respects the game's core vision and is fair to the players.
Oh, and we put hybrid work first.
Work from our office in Stockholm (Södermalm)? That works for us!
Good. Work remotely from anywhere in Sweden? If that suits you.
Also good. Work some days at the office and some days remote? Absolutely!
You will be part of our marvelous Design team (7 members) and your mission will be to create systems that will continue to engage our players beyond the first minutes. Guiding players to grow their in-game experience and be part of our journey for a long time to come.
In practice, that means translating game mechanics into progression design and identifying and working with our artists to create new visuals for our players to enjoy. By doing this you will also create systems to monetize this enhanced player journey while keeping the experience in line with the vision for the game.
In this role, you'll collaborate with all our departments to ensure that there is both content and technology to support the engagement design.
Sound like fun? Well. It is!

Ready to level up? Come join us!
At Fall Damage we believe in potential and diversity, so in other words, we like to get to know YOU. Be yourself and tell us why you are into gaming and/or tech and what parts you enjoy doing in your role.
What about relocation?
If you're an EU citizen authorized to work in Sweden, we're all for it! We handle relocations on a case-by-case basis but will be able to assist with the most important part, which is finding a home for you. Unfortunately, we don't have the capability to offer work-permit solutions for non-EU citizens at the moment, something we hope to be able to provide as we grow in the future.
